In Tales of Symphonia, each character can follow one path--either Technical or Strike--to "train" and increase their Base Artes powers. For Sheena, her Technical Artes (Pinions) are actually just stronger versions of her Base Artes with no change in the added effect. Her Strike Artes (Absolutes), however, are stronger than her Bases--though not as powerful as her Techs--but guarantee the added effects listed.
She is played from the Strike Artes path.

Notes for Sheena's Crystallization

Whoever brings Crystal!Sheena back to her apartment will find a few things:

A blue-eyed, black cat probably meowing for food, and an envelope marked "In Case of Crystal Stasis" on top of a pile of other envelopes marked "MK".

The undated letter inside reads as follows:

If you're reading this, then I'm in Crystal Stasis. At least I better be and you had better be someone I know, or someone is in for a huge surprise. I don't know if anyone else has done this, but I felt some notes or instructions would be helpful--since I have no idea how long I'll be in stasis.

First, as you've probably noticed, there's a blue-eyed, black cat roaming the apartment. Or sleeping on the back of the couch, or meowing for food. Her name is Hekigan, and to her, the last one is a priority! Followed by sleeping and playing. (What follows is a list of food Sheena keeps for the cat, where it's located, feeding times, where the cat toys are--everywhere--and some of the cats' favorite sleeping spots. As well as where the cat's box is.) If she's meowing, please stop reading and go feed her. Trust me, you'll thank me for that.

As someone who knows me and who I consider a friend--or more--I would appreciate if you stay here with Hekigan and take care of her. And me, if I'm brought back here. I guess that includes putting stickers and sunglasses on me as well. Just keep in mind that I like the color purple.

I would also like to ask that you take care of my Wyvern, Aska, as well. He's currently where the Wyverns are usually kept and fed, but he really likes company. We're friends with Auron and his Wyvern, Ifrit. Ifrit and Aska get together for playdates occasionally. (Auron, if you're the one reading this, Aska knows you and trusts you enough to ride him.)

Personality:
Sheena is a tomboyish, headstrong young woman who gives the initial impression of being a bold, confident, and skilled fighter. Underneath this rough exterior, however, is a feminine side she keeps well-hidden--until she remarks how pretty some flowers are, surprising everyone. Those who do or say things that are inappropriate are handled with a quick smack in the head. Zelos, with his lewd comments and womanizing ways, is her usual target. She prefers to handle her problems herself and not become a burden to her friends, which includes hiding her true feelings or saving herself as she never wants to be hurt or seen as weak or look like the typical "damsel in distress". However, she has no problem with helping others--even risking her own life at times to do so.

She wants to save her world and prevent its people from having to suffer if Colette succeeds, and tries to kill the Chosen time and again. However, she's thwarted by either her own clumsiness by falling into a maintenance tunnel or simply by being defeated. It's her hatred of seeing people suffer and believing in doing the right thing, however, that prompts her to protect the people of Luin when they are attacked and kidnapped. Thus, she not only comes close to losing her life, but after her failure, she puts her beliefs above her duty and disobeys orders--temporarily abandoning her mission and "loner" status to work with Lloyd and the others to rescue the villagers.

Although Sheena's an assassin, she feels that everyone has the right to live and doesn't like taking another person's life unnecessarily. And seeing the conditions of Sylvarant and what Colette's trying to accomplish convinces her not to take the Chosen's life. This defiance brands her a traitor back home, but it's unimportant for the moment. The plight of her home isn't certain; what's happening on Sylvarant is, and if her actions can alleviate even a little of the harshness they're experiencing, then so be it. She's more than willing to set her foot on the path of good intentions to the Hell of treason.

Although Sheena has no problem forfeiting her own life for others, after the incidents at the human ranch her ideals truly start to change. There, she had learned just how the life and ability enhancing ExSpheres are made and begins to question whether one planet surviving at the cost of another's inhabitants or an innocent bystander losing their life so another world could prosper is all right. The answer is a resounding "no" and she permanently gives up her mission to join Lloyd--who shares those same ideals--to make it possible for the worlds to survive separately.

Despite the tough, confident outer shell she projects to those around her, Sheena is actually far from confident and is plagued by low self-esteem and self-doubt about her own worth. She can’t take a compliment, becoming embarrassed and stammering out "Th-Thanks" when Lloyd praises her on her fighting skills. She also has a crush on him, which becomes apparent as they journey together. She never tells him, though, since right after raising her hopes by saying he likes her, he'll irritate her by dousing them with some nonchalant comment about just being friends. She treasures and is fiercely loyal to her friends, refusing to give up on them no matter the consequences; a result of being shunned and isolated from others as a child and for most of her life after her initial and well-publicized failed attempt with Volt--when the Spirit suddenly went berserk and the villagers who had accompanied her--twenty-five percent of the village population--had died, and her grandpa fell into a coma.

Although a terrible accident, for twelve years, she has blamed herself for that failure, while the villagers have made her feel like her life is worthless--thanks to threatening to kill the then seven-year-old if Igaguri dies. Being shunned is nothing new for her, however, as the villagers don't like outsiders, and Sheena is an outsider, having been found as a baby in a nearby forest by Igaguri--the Chief--and made his heir. After the incident, she believes that she shouldn't be allowed to live because she may hurt others by her actions. But it's a promise she makes to Corrine to not die and make him sad that prevents her from dying unnecessarily. However, it doesn't stop her from risking her life in order to help and protect people. Her pride in her Grandfather and the skills he has taught her will never allow her to do less than her best in fighting. If she dies, then she dies, but she won't shame the Igaguri name in the process. Afraid disaster will come to others, she hesitates in making big decisions and sometimes second-guesses herself when she does; another consequence of her first interaction with Volt. Something she begins to overcome as her determination to save people kicks in and she starts making pacts with the Summon Spirits.

Frightened that meeting Undine will end as badly as her first one with Volt had, Sheena is hesitant about approaching the Spirit. With a life at stake, however, she faces that fear and braves the encounter--which ends on a positive note. With one pact made, her confidence starts growing, and she begins eagerly looking forward to seeing the other Spirits--save one. Her vows change as she begins to focus on not just the people hurting on Sylvarant, but also those who have been oppressed on Tethe'alla. With every promise, her voice and her convictions grows stronger as she concentrates less on helping only those who are suffering to more on keeping both worlds from sacrificing each other and finally, to saving both planets.

Literally facing her fear and winning against Volt gives her confidence a huge boost. In her vow to the Spirit, she remembers and honors those who had given their lives to protect her. Thanks to Corrine and his sacrificing his life for her, she now truly believes that her life isn't worthless, but is just as precious as those she protects. As Lloyd puts it later: Her life has value by the simple virtue of her being alive and being there. And it is this more confident Sheena who takes on the mantle of Chief and proudly tells the now-accepting villagers of Mizuho that they must inform the “whole new world” of the Igaguri Style and keep it alive. And make Mizuho a place Kuchinawa--who had never forgiven her for the death of his parents the first time with Volt--would want to come home to again.

Her final vow with Origin speaks volumes about her beliefs and what she’s willing to fight for: "I, Sheena, have but one vow. To reclaim a world in which everyone can live freely... A world in which no life is sacrificed meaninglessly! That's all."

Appearance: She's 19 here, but still looks about the same after 6 years. Except for having longer hair.

Abilities:
Not only is she a ninja, Sheena is also a Summoner, and uses Elemental Cards and Seals in battle. The last items she has the ability to make wherever she is as they are made from paper and a secret known only to her village. All of her abilities require the use of mana. For the Elemental Cards and Seals, she pours her mana into them to activate the magic inscribed in them. Her Cards she must hold in her hand and directly hit her enemy, while her Seals she can direct into position with her mana--like moving a remote controlled airplane.

The Summon Spirits also use her mana--but only when in battle and when she uses the full incantation to call them. Then, they not only manipulate their own element, but can provide support for her allies in the area of effect.

Seals (Ofuda):
Sheena mainly uses her seals for support--such as healing or restoring her mana, but she does have a couple that have offensive capabilities and uses those just as effectively--Pyre Seal and Demon Seal. However, only Demon Seal is Element-based, so any enemy weak to Light will be damaged more, while someone with that affinity will be healed.

Because of her canon point and path of learning, she has mastered her Seals, so the Level One Seals are no longer used. Instead, they have been replaced by the "Absolute" versions of the "Strike" branch of combat--guaranteed to work. The Seals can also be used in Compound Attacks, but are very rare in RP.

Elemental Cards:
All of her Elemental Cards as well as her Spell Card are used. As with the Seals, the "rules" of Elemental weakness and affinity apply. (This can be discussed on a case-by case basis with the mun if they want to do that.)

Summon Spirits:
As a Summoner, she's made a pact with all ten of the Elemental Summons from home. Fire (Efreet), Ice (Celsius), Wind (Sylph), Undine (Water), Volt (Lightning)--negating Corrine, Earth (Gnome), Shadow (Darkness), and Luna/Aska (Light). Origin and Maxwell--the Ruler of All and the Father of the Spirits respectively--can control different elements. While she can call upon them any time outside of battle without any apparent loss of mana, in game mechanics, however, Sheena needs to be in Over Limit in battle and have a certain amount of TP to Summon a Spirit at full power. But game mechanics don't always translate well into RP, so I have based her Summoning again in battle upon whether or not her mana has had time to rebuild. And if it hasn't, then their attacks are not as effective as they could be.

No matter if she's Summoning in battle or just doing it too many times outside of it, losing too much mana can exhaust her, making her physically weak and her attacks and movements sluggish. When that happens, she needs to rest, use one of her Seals, or take something to restore it (like a gel).

ExSphere:
Not really a skill or ability, but it is an item that is physically attached to her body that enhances her speed, strength, and endurance--which are already high considering her training as a ninja. With it, she can take a beating for far longer than a normal human, and dish it out just as much, but it isn't a failsafe against serious injury.

Suitability: This isn't Sheena's first time down the rabbit hole, but waking up where she hadn't expected to (again) just might make her a little irritated. Because of a vision in Tu Shanshu (among other reasons), she had decided to stay to help rebuild Keeliai after returning from the Dreaming. Well, that obviously isn't necessary in Aifaran, but in her experience, things aren't always as perfect as they appear, and she'll once more blend in to get information as she had been trained to do.

Inventory:
Her Seals, elemental cards, her original attire (as seen in the shot above), a pair of kunai, some gels she had made, Tomoya (her Corrine lookalike), and Corrine's Bell (which will surprise her, since she had given it up to Thanatos, but Atia wants a clean break and since she had opted to go home, Sheena should also have short hair as she's supposed to go back to her original time--another surprise.) Corrine's Bell, unlike the other items--which are utilitarian--is only a keepsake. It's the last physical thing she has of Corrine's to remember him by.

Game Origin:
Sheena had come from from AmatOmnes, an 18+ smut game. Those brought into the game are fitted with collars that tighten over a period of of two weeks, eventually choking the wearer. To reset the collar, sex must be had. Other methods are incomplete and can only slow the collar, not stop it.

Tu Shanshu Changes:
After two years on the turtle, many things have changed for her, and will be marked in purple. Her guilt, however, hasn't disappeared, and most likely won't for a very long time.

The following played a part in her decision to remain, as she hadn't been pulled from home, but from Atia's island with all those memories intact. Something she doesn't want to relive and take back with her if she can't remember her time and the benefits reaped during her time in Keeliai.

My apologies for the length, but she had had a lot happen to her in six years.

Physical:
Sheena's hair is now about eighteen inches longer than it had been at the end of the game, and there are a few more scars on her body from the battles she had been in. And the deaths she had endured. Sheena died three times on Atia, but because people can come back if they give something precious or they valued highly to Thanatos, she had been able to return. (Only one of those deaths counted for that; the other two had been "special" circumstances.)

A hidden physical change is Sheena's habit of needing sex every two weeks--or in her case, every twelve days. It had been a schedule she had set herself in order to have a cushion for when the choking would begin. Although she no longer has her collar, her body is accustomed to this schedule and to the consequence of death if she doesn't follow it. Almost like a physical addiction to a drug. This can also fit under mental, but her body's reactions come into play here. This doesn't mean she's a slut, but she had gotten into the habit of going to brothels on Atia. And learning a few new things.

So, the first time this cycle hits her while in this new place, she will more than likely panic as her body sends her signals that it's "time" to fulfill its needs once again. And even though she knows this isn't Atia and that she'll be all right if she doesn't, after fours years, she's not going to take a chance and she will seek out companionship--whether in brothels or in bars. On the plus side, the kedan's aversion to having anything physical to do with Foreigners will help her overcome this rather embarrassing "problem" somewhat quickly. As will the fact that the Raine who resides here is not the same one she fell in love with and was a collar partner to on Atia. Her friendship with the mage overrides anything her body and mind can throw at her.

Although, as with many addictions, she may fall off the wagon once in a while.

Since her time in Keeliai and away from Atia's "influence", however, she no longer feels those physical urges and hasn't had to deal with them with visits to certain businesses. She is once again relying upon her emotions and not her physical reactions in order to make friends and acquaintances without expecting more than that.

Emotional:
At first, it appears that Sheena's emotional state is the same as it always had been. Easily angered and quick to be concerned, and for the most part, that's true. However, one of her deaths had been more traumatic than the others (yes, more traumatic than tentacle rape and being eaten alive), as her heart had been taken by an unseen assailant. (It had been another God). When she had returned, she had shut down her emotions, not wanting her heart to be hurt again, as she dealt with what had happened to her that night. Occasionally, she reverts to that way without thinking as it has become a defense mechanism against the horrors of Atia.

Ironically, the one person who has helped her with this has been Kratos, the most stoic man she's ever met. His advice for her to face those emotions struck a chord with the emotional ninja, and while she hasn't completely faced all of the horror inflicted on her, she has made a little headway. Something she'll still have to deal with upon awakening.

Mental:
Again, everything seems to be the same with Sheena. Her self-confidence appears to be right where it should be--although one would expect having been someone's sex slave would have chipped away at it a little. And it had, as her initial reaction to the collar had been "choking is a stupid way to die" for a fighter. She prefers the battlefield. Besides, going to Thanatos too many times can lead to forgetting who you are after a while, and she hadn't been about to have any of that. So, doing what she had needed to do--for her--had been a battle to remain herself.

However, that confidence takes a horrible hit at the beginning of her third year when the person she confesses that she loves to retracts his declaration that he loves her too by claiming he had been under Atia's influence at the time. Of course, the one time she decides to go with her feelings and belief in herself and say something, that happens. Covering up her disappointment and not wanting to lose a friend, she tells him she had been as well--although she hadn't. And from that point on, she had remained silent whenever she had fallen for anyone, watching as--one by one--they either left or found someone else.

Sadly, also during this time, Sheena's self-esteem has suffered the most damage--except it doesn't come to fruition until months later as more and more people leave her. A very destructive seed had been planted, and as more people moved away from her--yet still came to her whenever they wanted sex--she had come to believe that was all she as good for--and not love. No wonder her confession had flopped! She just hadn't known it then. She even goes as far as to accuse a good friend that he thinks the same thing, since upon seeing her after a long while, he had never bothered to ask her if she had a significant other in her life. Why should he, right? However, during this time, she meets someone who seems like he likes her for something other than that, and she feels herself falling for him--only to learn he had been using her to make someone else jealous. And down she goes--again. Only this time, it's even deeper--to the point that whatever anyone wants to do to her, they can, because what does it matter? She had finally found her "true" self--losing that which she had originally fought so hard for early on. It takes the intervention of two friends to basically beat some sense into her to realize that opinion about herself is wrong. And while it hasn't quite gone away--she still has those moments of doubts--it's not as bad as it had been.

However, her self-confidence remains right where it is, as she's fallen in love with someone again, but remaining true to her original habit, hasn't told them--although she had fallen in love with Raine on Atia many months ago. She's not about to lose that friendship!

There are a few other issues as well, but a main one is a sense of guilt. One of the three deaths she had suffered happened right before Raine appeared on the island, but they hadn't discussed it until months later. It had been a horrible death, but Sheena--as usual--kept it hidden from her friend. Until Raine had gotten her to open up about it--stunning the mage by just how much Sheena had been through and shouldered alone. And Sheena feels that if it hadn't been for that discussion, Raine wouldn't have set out to prove to herself (and Sheena) that the mage is just as strong and can take care of herself--by accepting a challenge from someone who would sexually torture Raine for a period of one month.

Things had deteriorated quickly, and Sheena had found out. Looking back, she should have dragged Raine out of there, instead of giving in to her wishes and offering to take some of the burden off the mage. Sadly, despite her efforts, Raine hadn't come out totally unscathed--and neither had Sheena. The ninja had realized why it had been done and still feels guilt over setting her on that path and not yanking her off it--in spite of what the mage had told her. So, an occasional "it's my fault" escapes her from time to time.

It's because of this guilt and a desire to see Raine healed that Sheena accepts an offer from Atia to help Raine get better by activating her ExSphere to twenty-five percent. Sheena's had also been active during her time of torture, allowing her to endure it and find herself much quicker afterward. Of course, Atia's price is a shameful one, but as long as Raine gets better, Sheena doesn't care--except she hides it from Raine out of that shame. And she'll also hide what she had had to do for four years out of that shame--even though her survival had depended on it.

A lot of things had happened to Sheena during her time on Atia, but one thing has always remained: her loyalty to her friends. She will do anything she can to keep them safe and out of harm's way, or to help them in whatever way she can--even at the risk of her dignity or life. And as always, "she's fine".

[ Perhaps it's Sheena's ninja training that makes her Summoning so different. After all, for a ninja, it isn't what can be seen that's effective, but that which can't.
And Kratos will be able to enjoy that subtle touch of hers for a while because--in spite of the Spirit's power--he can only do so much thanks to the strange corruption and the limits of Sheena and Kratos' own abilities. But, the soil starts to heal, the pollution gone permanently--they hope.
Well, at least it hadn't returned by the next session. Or the next. Or the next.
It's a slow process, taking weeks, but eventually, all the soil is clean, and shows no sign of the corruption returning.

While she can call them at any time for assistance, I headcanon that it's only when she uses the full incantation that they not only attack the enemy but provide support for allies in battle. This is based upon in-game mechanics.

On Sheena's world, mana is the basis of all life and magic. All living being possess mana, but only those of elven blood can use their mana to manipulate the planet's mana and cast magic because of their unique ties to the mana itself. (They're the ones who brought it to the planet in the first place). However, those who can't cast magic can use their mana in other ways by infusing their weapons with it in order to perform special attacks or moves. While there are many who use typical weapons like swords, Sheena is the only one on her entire planet who uses Seals--pieces of paper inscribed with certain "incantations" that activate the moment she pours her mana into them.

Each Seal she possesses has a different inscription, giving her an arsenal of abilities that range from healing herself to attacking the enemy to bringing an ally back from "death" during battle.

Strengths:
Although they merely look like scraps of paper, Sheena's Seals can still pack quite a punch to the unsuspecting. Unlike a sword or a staff, Sheena can use Seals from a distance, controlling them with her mana to lend aid and support to her allies--or even to give herself a leg up in battle. Like a magic user, she can also focus her attack Seals on either a single enemy or several at once.

Three of her Seals, when used correctly in tandem with each other, can also allow her to fight for a long time, as Guardian protects, Life heals, and Spirit replenishes her mana.

Weaknesses:
As a ninja, Sheena wears no armor, so the chance of her being injured when hit is pretty high. And ironically, the two Seals that would enable her to heal and restore any mana lost require her to hold the seal and make contact with her opponent in order for the "transfer" to take place. A technique that puts her right back into harm's way as she's trying to get out of it. To get around this, Guardian must be used, but if her mana is low, it can't be activated. This is extremely dangerous when she's fighting alone as without resorting to her Spirit Seal, or lacking any healing items, it takes time to "recharge" her mana in order to use any of her seals--at times leaving her vulnerable to attack.

In addition, unlike a sword user who can channel his mana into any sword and perform whatever special attack he desires, Sheena must switch to the appropriate Seal in order to obtain the effect needed. After years of use, she has mastered the swiftness of switching, but that doesn't mean she can't be caught with her guard down and left open to being injured.

Personality:
Sheena is a tomboyish, headstrong young woman who gives the initial impression of being a bold, confident, and skilled fighter. Underneath this rough exterior, however, is a feminine side she keeps well-hidden--until she remarks how pretty some flowers are, surprising everyone. Those who do or say things that are inappropriate are handled with a quick smack in the head. Zelos, with his lewd comments and womanizing ways, is her usual target. She prefers to handle her problems herself and not become a burden to her friends, which includes hiding her true feelings or saving herself as she never wants to be hurt or seen as weak or look like the typical “damsel in distress”. However, she has no problem with helping others--even risking her own life at times to do so.

She wants to save her world and prevent its people from having to suffer if Colette succeeds, and tries to kill the Chosen time and again. However, she's thwarted by either her own clumsiness by falling into a maintenance tunnel or simply by being defeated. It's her hatred of seeing people suffer and believing in doing the right thing, however, that prompts her to protect the people of Luin when they are attacked and kidnapped. Thus, she not only comes close to losing her life, but after her failure, she puts her beliefs above her duty and disobeys orders--temporarily abandoning her mission and "loner" status to work with Lloyd and the others to rescue the villagers.

Although Sheena's an assassin, she feels that everyone has the right to live and doesn't like taking another person's life unnecessarily. And seeing the conditions of Sylvarant and what Colette’s trying to accomplish convinces her not to take the Chosen's life. This defiance brands her a traitor back home, but it's unimportant for the moment. The plight of her home isn't certain; what’s happening on Sylvarant is, and if her actions can alleviate even a little of the harshness they’re experiencing, then so be it. She's more than willing to set her foot on the path of good intentions to the Hell of treason.

Although Sheena has no problem forfeiting her own life for others, after the incidents at the human ranch her ideals truly start to change. There, she had learned just how the life and ability enhancing ExSpheres are made and begins to question whether one planet surviving at the cost of another’s inhabitants or an innocent bystander losing their life so another world could prosper is all right. The answer is a resounding “no” and she permanently gives up her mission to join Lloyd--who shares those same ideals--to make it possible for the worlds to survive separately.

Despite the tough, confident outer shell she projects to those around her, Sheena is actually far from confident and is plagued by low self-esteem and self-doubt about her own worth. She can’t take a compliment, becoming embarrassed and stammering out "Th-Thanks" when Lloyd praises her on her fighting skills. She also has a crush on him, which becomes apparent as they journey together. She never tells him, though, since right after raising her hopes by saying he likes her, he'll irritate her by dousing them with some nonchalant comment about just being friends. She treasures and is fiercely loyal to her friends, refusing to give up on them no matter the consequences; a result of being shunned and isolated from others as a child and for most of her life after her initial failed attempt with Volt.

For twelve years, she has blamed herself for that failure, while the villagers have made her feel like her life worthless. Rather than suicide, however, she risks it in order to help and protect people. But, her pride in her Grandfather and the skills he has taught her will never allow her to do less than her best in fighting. If she dies, then she dies, but she won't shame the Igaguri name in the process. Afraid disaster will come to others, she hesitates in making big decisions and sometimes second-guesses herself when she does—another consequence of her first interaction with Volt. Something she begins to overcome as her determination to save people kicks in and she starts making pacts with the Summon Spirits.

Frightened that meeting Undine will end as badly as her first one with Volt had, Sheena is hesitant about approaching the Spirit. With a life at stake, however, she faces that fear and braves the encounter--which ends on a positive note. With one pact made, her confidence starts growing, and she begins eagerly looking forward to seeing the other Spirits--save one. Her vows change as she begins to focus on not just the people hurting on Sylvarant, but also those who have been oppressed on Tethe'alla. With every promise, her voice and her convictions grows stronger as she concentrates less on helping only those who are suffering to more on keeping both worlds from sacrificing each other and finally, to saving both planets.

Literally facing her fear and winning against Volt gives her confidence a huge boost. In her vow to the Spirit, she remembers and honors those who had given their lives to protect her. Thanks to Corrine, she now knows that her life isn't worthless, but is just as precious as those she protects. And it is this more confident Sheena who takes on the mantle of Chief and proudly tells the now-accepting villagers of Mizuho that they must inform the “whole new world” of the Igaguri Style and keep it alive. And make Mizuho a place Kuchinawa--who had never forgiven her for the death of his parents the first time with Volt--would want to come home to again.

Her final vow with Origin speaks volumes about her beliefs and what she’s willing to fight for: "I, Sheena, have but one vow. To reclaim a world in which everyone can live freely... A world in which no life is sacrificed meaninglessly! That's all."

CRAU: Sheena had been there for only eight months, but she really hadn't changed much during that time. She was still helping people the best she could, which at times meant having sex with them and never once looking at it as a burden or imposition. She had discovered a few things about her friends that some might find disagreeable, but she herself was using sex to get information. Who was she to judge?
Her emotional make-up did take a severe blow during that time when she had been punished (read: tortured), with electricity and sex toys. Electricity is Volt's domain, and this punishment brought up all those fears and doubts she had put aside, making her doubt her ability to use her own Lightning Cards, and making her fear the Summon--again--when he suddenly appeared before her as a "reward" from the witches. For the most part, she has recovered from that, but she still has moments of the nightmares from before, and new ones now.

Skills and attributes: Not only is she a ninja, Sheena is also a Summoner, and uses Elemental Cards and Seals in battle. The last items she has the ability to make as they are made from paper and the making of a secret known only to those from her village. All of her abilities require the use of mana. For the Elemental Cards and Seals, she pours her mana into them to activate the magic inscribed in them. Her Cards she must hold in her hand and directly hit her enemy, while her Seals she can direct into position with her mana--kind of moving a remote controlled airplane.
The Summon Spirits also use her mana--but only when in battle and when she uses the full incantation to call them. Then, they not only manipulate their own element, but can provide support for her allies in the area of effect.

Only one of her Seals is Elemental based. Demon Seal with its Element of Light. So, creatures or people with a weakness to that will still be affected, but not as much as detailed in the information in the links below. The result of this will be Sheena's mana dropping faster than usual, since she will have to use these attacks more than once just to achieve their regular level of damage.
Level 1: Won't be used. Once the higher forms are reached, I don't use these any more. And she is coming from a point where the higher forms have been achieved.
Level 2: Life and Serpent Seals are used. The "Absolute" versions of her lower seals will be used.
Level 3: Guardian, Pyre and Demon Seal used.

Elemental Cards: All of her Elemental Cards as well as her Spell Card are used. As with the Seals, those with a weakness to a particular element will be more affected than those who aren't. While those with an affinity may be healed. (This can be discussed on a case-by case basis with the mun if they want to do that.) And as with the Seals, she will have to hit twice in order to achieve one hit's usual potency--depleting her mana even more.

Summons:
In game mechanics, Sheena needs to be in Over Limit and have a certain amount of TP to Summon a Spirit. And Summoning takes up all her mana meaning they can't be summoned again until her mana hits a certain level. So, the lower her level, the weaker their attack and support will be.

A high loss of mana can exhaust her, making her physical attacks weaker. So even if her mana starts to rebuild, there's always the chance of her not coming out of the fight in good shape.

ExSphere:
Not really a skill or ability, but it is an item that is physically attached to her body that enhances her speed, strength, and endurance. All three of those things are already high considering her training as a ninja. Bringing it down to 70% effectiveness will more than likely put her in the well-toned, athletic human category who is just a little bit faster, a little bit stronger, and can take things physically a little longer. At first, she will underestimate the effects this world has on her abilities and she will tire quicker than she had before in battle.

However, she hasn't had her ExSphere long, so it probably won't take her as long to adjust as it would for her Seals and Cards - which she's used all her life.
